    Band bio:

Formed in 2025 under the Arizona sun, Forest Thurman & Breakline have rapidly emerged as one of the Southwest's most compelling new bluegrass bands. Led by guitarist, vocalist, and 2025 Arizona State Flatpicking Champion, Forest Thurman, the group blends traditional bluegrass with a hard‑driving, high‑energy edge, appealing to classic and modern audiences alike.

The five‑piece lineup—Forest Thurman (guitar, vocals), Luke Stecklein (banjo, vocals), Danielle Bettencourt (fiddle, vocals), Brian King (mandolin, vocals), and Joelle Tambe‑Ebot (bass)—features award‑winning instrumentalists whose unique musical backgrounds and natural chemistry create a dynamic and unforgettable sound.

Since their debut, Forest Thurman & Breakline have earned first‑place honors at multiple competitions, most notably the Pickin’ in the Pines band contest in Flagstaff, Arizona. With shows defined by instrumental prowess and a powerful, yet authentic stage presence, Forest Thurman & Breakline continue to gain momentum as a standout bluegrass act across the region.
